SafeRoutes4x is a professional consortium of Transportation Engineers, Road Safety Specialists, Urban Planners, and Civil Engineers committed to advancing safe, sustainable, and inclusive mobility in Rwanda and beyond. We operate at the intersection of engineering, safety policy, and community behavior change, embedding safety and sustainability into every stage of infrastructure planning, design, and implementation.

We champion the Safe System Approach and Vision Zero frameworks, internationally recognized standards for designing road networks that anticipate human error and minimize the risk of crashes. Through engineering innovation, evidence-based methodologies, and human-centered design, we work to ensure that roads and public spaces protect all users, especially the most vulnerable.
