SafeRoutes4X is a leading community-Benefit Company advancing road safety in Rwanda and beyond. Rooted in the Safe System Approach, we are dedicated to preventing road traffic fatalities and serious injuries by addressing the system as a whole-road users, infrastructure, vehicles, and emergency response.
We work to promote responsible road use, safer infrastructure, and evidence-based policies that protect every road user, especially the most vulnerable.
At SafeRoutes4x (SR4X), our work is guided by a bold vision: a Rwanda with zero traffic fatalities and severe injuries, and where safe, sustainable mobility is a right enjoyed by everyone. From schoolyards to boardrooms, from dusty village paths to cities’s busiest intersections, we are creating a national movement for safe, inclusive, and people-centred roads. Our work is structured into four strategic pillars, each addressing a critical area of road safety. Through these pillars, we deliver programs, advocate for change, and build lasting community partnerships.
